We'd like you to join us as a Registered Manager at our services Bethany House & Bethany Lodge in Dymchurch. At Bethany House & Lodge, we provide support for young adults with a neurological conditions in a residential home, helping to promote independence and maintain a high standard of both physical and mental wellbeing.
The Registered Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, regulatory compliance, quality, operational performance and culture of Bethany House and Bethany Lodge, two complex care services in Dymchurch supporting adults with acquired brain injury and other complex neurological, physical and health needs. The postholder will be the CQC Registered Manager for both homes and will provide visible leadership across the two services, ensuring that people receive safe, effective, compassionate and person centred care.
What you'll be working:
- Full time 40 hours per week.
- Working across 2 services, Bethany Lodge & Bethany House
- £50,000 (FTE) Per annum, pro rata.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the day-to-day performance, quality and regulatory compliance of both services.
- Maintaining high standards of safe, effective and person-centred care.
- Providing visible leadership and supporting colleagues to perform at their best.
- Overseeing staffing, recruitment, retention, training and colleague development.
- Managing budgets, resources and operational performance.
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
- Driving continuous improvement through audits, action plans, feedback and learning.
- Supporting appropriate referrals, transitions and admissions across both services.
- Maintaining CQC standards and ensuring both homes are ready for inspection.
- Taking part in the management on-call arrangements.

What you'll have:
- A relevant Level 5 leadership and management qualification for adult social care.
- Substantial management experience within health or social care, ideally as a CQC Registered Manager.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and adult social care requirements.
- Experience of leading and developing teams within a regulated care environment.
- Confidence managing quality, staffing, budgets and operational performance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with families, commissioners and professionals.
- Experience within acquired brain injury, neurological or complex care services is highly desirable. Elderly care experience is also acceptable.
- A calm, decisive and compassionate leadership style, with the ability to balance the needs of two busy services.
