We'd like you to join us as a Deputy Manager at our service Loyd House in Northampton.

At Loyd House we have a strong focus on therapy, care and quality of life. We provide specialist post-acute rehabilitation, as well as management of long-term neurological conditions. We’re committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.

What you'll be working:

  • Full time 40 Hours per week 
  • Part time 37.63 Hours per week 
  • £32,474.66 (FTE) per annum pro rata

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and support the day-to-day running of the service, working alongside the Registered Manager.
  • Lead, support and develop a motivated team, including supervision, appraisals and training.
  • Support the recruitment, induction and retention of staff.
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care and support is provided in line with policies and CQC requirements.
  • Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, HR and other stakeholders.
  • Support effective management of change and help maintain a positive working environment.

What you'll have:

  • Experience of residential work
  • Medication trained would be preferable
  • Experience of leading and supporting a team, ideally within health or social care.
  • Good communication and people-management skills.
  • A person-centred approach and a genuine commitment to supporting others.
  • Ability to work confidently with colleagues, families and external professionals.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A commitment to equality, inclusion and the values of Active Care Group.
  • Must be willing to commence a level 4 diploma or hold an equivalent qualification.
  • Must have computer skills in Excel, word, outlook and internet explorer.
