Support Worker - Weekends

Are you a kind, caring and reliable Support Worker with a full UK driving licence looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference?

About the client:

We are looking for a kind, patient and reliable Support Worker to support a gentleman in his 30s who has an acquired brain injury (ABI) and epilepsy in Hayling Island. 

He is a warm, caring gentleman with a great sense of humour who enjoys a bit of friendly banter. He benefits from having someone around him who is patient, communicates clearly and takes the time to understand him.

He leads a very active lifestyle and enjoys getting involved in a wide range of activities. He takes part in rehabilitation, physiotherapy and archery, and works at a local farm. Each year, he takes part in the Superhero Triathlon, which is something he really enjoys and takes pride in.

He is very close to his family and enjoys staying active and involved in the community.

Client also has a cat, therefore you must be comfortable working around cats. You will be required to feed the cat and change the litter tray.

Shifts Available:

Saturday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 6:00pm

Previous experience in care or support work is valuable, but what matters most is your attitude, reliability and genuine desire to make a difference.
