Live in Support Worker - Bristol

We’re looking for an experienced Female Support Worker with a full UK driving licence to support a lovely, sociable lady in her late 20s. If you enjoy helping others, love an active lifestyle and would enjoy supporting someone to attend festivals, spend time with friends and family and enjoy everyday life, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Meet the client:

Our client is a kind, caring and sociable young woman who enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family and loves getting out and about. She particularly enjoys attending festivals and social events, so this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and would love to support someone to continue doing the things she enjoys.

Our client has a has a spinal cord injury affecting her neck and upper body, so she requires support with her daily care and complex needs.

She lives at home with her partner, and you will become an important part of her support network, helping her maintain her independence, social life and everyday routines.

When you'll be working:

• 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

• Female and a confident driver
• Kind, caring, friendly and patient

• Experienced in, or familiar with, complex care and physical disabilities
• Reliable and respectful of the client’s home and personal space
• Confident supporting with personal care and daily routines
• Sociable and happy to support trips out, social activities and festivals
• A good communicator who enjoys building positive relationships
• Comfortable working as a live-in support worker
• Professional, dependable and committed to providing high-quality care

• Fully paid travel to and from placements

*Please note we are recruiting a Female Support Worker due to a genuine occupational requirement of the person we support therefore this role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 Part Schedule 9
