About this role

Come and join one of the UK’s largest providers in complex care.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Therapy Assistant looking for an opportunity to be part of something new?

Active Neuro Manchesteris an exciting new specialist rehabilitation service preparing to open, providing rehabilitation for people with neurological conditions, spinal injuries and polytrauma. This is a unique opportunity to join the service from the beginning and be part of developing a highly skilled rehabilitation team and establishing a culture focused on excellent clinical care, innovation and meaningful outcomes for the people we support.

Our new Neuro Hub will provide a modern rehabilitation environment designed to support high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation. Alongside rehabilitation delivered within the Hub, our team will also work with clients in their own homes and communities, supporting people to translate the progress they make in therapy into greater independence in everyday life.

The Role:

As a Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and wider multidisciplinary team to deliver rehabilitation programmes for individuals with a range of complex neurological needs. You will have the opportunity to support both individual and group rehabilitation, facilitate structured therapy programmes delegated by registered therapists, and help clients work towards their rehabilitation goals.

Joining a new service also means having the opportunity to help shape how we work. You will contribute to establishing our rehabilitation programmes, developing ways of working and creating an environment in which clients are encouraged and supported to maximise their potential. You will work alongside experienced clinicians and have opportunities to develop your own rehabilitation skills and competencies as the service grows.

The role will involve working both within our Neuro Hub and with clients in their homes and communities. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is therefore essential for this role.

If you are enthusiastic about neurological rehabilitation and want to join a new service where you can grow with the team and make a meaningful contribution from the outset, we would love to hear from you.
