About this role

This isn’t your average care role – be the reason someone gets to go home!

If you’re an experienced Support Worker who thrives on variety, enjoys working independently and wants to make a real difference when it matters most, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Complex Care Response Specialist, you’ll be part of a highly skilled team providing urgent support wherever it’s needed across England and Wales. Every assignment is different. One week you could be helping someone leave hospital safely and settle back into their own home. The next, you could be stepping in to stabilise a complex care package, preventing a hospital admission and giving a family much-needed reassurance.

This is a role where your experience, compassion and confidence genuinely change lives.

What we can offer you:

  • Up to £29,000 per year, depending on experience
  • £3,000 annual car allowance
  • Paid mileage for business travel
  • Accommodation provided when working away from home
  • Regional role with opportunities to work in a variety of locations
  • Planned breaks between assignments (depending on assignment length)
  • Overtime opportunities may be available
  • Be part of a supportive, experienced clinical and operational team
  • Opportunities to mentor colleagues and continue developing your skills
  • A role where your work has a visible impact every single day

  • Mentoring and supporting new Support Workers
  • Working alongside Care Managers and Clinical Professionals
  • Ensuring medication, equipment and care supplies are in place

Travel is an essential part of this role:

This is a regional role so you will need to be happy and able to travel across your designated region

This may include:

  • Travelling to assignments across the country
  • Working on both live-in and live-out care packages
  • Staying away from home when required

To support you, we’ll provide:

  • Paid business mileage
  • Accommodation for assignments outside reasonable travelling distance
  • Accommodation for live-out packages where overnight stays are required

If you’re looking for a role based in one local area, this position is unlikely to be the right fit. However, if you enjoy variety, travel and meeting new people while making a genuine difference, you’ll love the opportunities this role offers.

Essential:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience supporting people with complex care needs
  • Confidence working independently and adapting to new environments
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Flexibility to travel within your regionally

Desirable:

Is this role for you?

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys stepping into new environments, building relationships quickly and helping people through some of the most important moments in their lives.
