Male Children's Support Worker - Driver

For genuine occupational requirments we require male support workers for this client. We also require full UK drivers licence to drive the clients vehicle.

What you'll be doing:

We are expanding our client base and have a new client in Stoke on Trent.

This role is to support a 13 year old boy who has autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour in his family home and taking him out in the community, working alongside another Support Worker at all times.

We require candidates to hold a full UK drivers licence to be able to drive the clients vehicle. 

Meet out client:

I am a 13 year old boy who just loves to be outside and running around. I enjoy being active and going to the park, the trampoline park, swimming and soft play. I am cheeky and like my support workers to sit and play with me and engage in activities. I need someone who is outgoing and will enjoy running around with me. I do take some time to get to know people but once I am familiar with you, I enjoy having that close bond and feeling safe. 

 

Shifts:

• Weekdays: mornings (8am-10am) and evenings (2pm-10pm)
• Sundays 8am-10pm
• During non term time the weekday shifts change to long shifts (8am-10pm / 8am-6pm)
• Part time or Full time available

 

In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.
