Support Worker

Are you a kind, caring and reliable Female Support Worker with a full UK driving licence looking for a rewarding role where no two days are quite the same?

We are looking for a dedicated female support worker to join a friendly and consistent 2:1 care team supporting a wonderful lady who lives independently in a two-bedroom annexe at her parents’ home.

About the client:

Our client is a full-time wheelchair user who requires hoisting for all transfers and support with all aspects of her daily care needs.

She is a very happy, smiley lady with a wonderful personality. She loves music—especially boybands like Boyzone—and enjoys attending concerts whenever possible. She has a busy and active weekly routine, regularly attending art and music clubs as well as hydrotherapy sessions. She thrives on social interaction and enjoys getting out and about.

Available shifts:

• Day shifts 08:00 – 20:00 - Monday-Sunday
• Thursdays 11am – 6pm
• Day/Sleep – 08:00am – 08:00am

In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.

• Confident working as part of a 2:1 support team
• Comfortable using a hoist, or willing to undertake the necessary training
• Friendly and sociable, with a genuine interest in supporting someone to enjoy their hobbies and interests
• Comfortable supporting someone in their own home and out in the community
• A female driver with a full UK driving licence
