We'd like you to join us as a Receptionist at our service Frenchay in Bristol.
The receptionist will welcome all visitors, patients and relatives to the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, answer telephone calls and deal with any general enquiries in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner and provide administrative support for the Multi-disciplinary Team
Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre is a 52 bed centre, we specialise in the treatment of adults with complex physical and cognitive impairments, challenging behaviours and neuropsychiatric disorders resulting from a brain injury. We offer comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation and therapy with amazing facilities including Accessible therapy kitchens, Hydrotherapy pool, Two gymnasiums plus 5 large day rooms, three with direct access landscaped gardens. We also have 2 minibuses and a car for those important appointments and days out!
What you'll be working:
- Part time- average 26 hours per week
- Evening – (16:00-20:00 Monday-Friday)
- Weekend – 12 hours per week working alternate weekends.(10:00-4:00pm Saturday and Sunday)
- £25,400.16 (FTE) Per annum (Pro rata)
What you'll be doing:
- Be responsible for the reception duties on the front desk, ensuring an efficient and welcoming reception service is provided to all visitors to the Centre.
- Assist with the day-to-day administrative functions to ensure the smooth running of the Centre.
- Deal with general queries and enquiries in an efficient, polite and professional manner.
- Provide a friendly, welcoming reception service to all visitors, patients and relatives.
- Ensure confidentiality is always adhered to by staff in the proximity of the reception area.

What we would like from you:
- Good standard of general education
- GCSE Mathematics & English (Grade 4/C and above)
- Good literacy skills
- Good keyboard skills
- Computer literate, use of Microsoft packages, emails and the internet
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work within a team and to take direction from senior team members, incorporating diplomacy and absolute discretion
- Ability to complete tasks within timescales and to deadlines
- Experience of Reception work
