Jane Lewis Healthcare, part of Active Care Group, is a specialist healthcare staffing agency, dedicated to providing highly trained health professionals to services across the UK.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Operations Manager to lead our teams, strengthen our client partnerships and drive growth across the region.

As Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of the performance and growth of your region.

You’ll lead and develop a high-performing team, build strong relationships with clients, identify opportunities for growth and ensure we consistently deliver an exceptional level of service.

You’ll combine commercial thinking, operational excellence and inspirational leadership to help Jane Lewis become the partner of choice for healthcare staffing.

What you'll be doing:

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire your team to deliver outstanding commercial and operational performance.
• Drive regional growth, identifying new opportunities and increasing market share across your area.
• Build lasting client relationships, becoming a trusted partner and understanding the challenges and needs of each organisation.
• Develop and retain high-performing teams, creating a culture where people are motivated, accountable and empowered to succeed.
• Use data and performance insight to identify trends, address challenges and turn opportunities into results.
• Champion operational excellence, ensuring our processes, standards and service delivery consistently meet expectations.
• Collaborate across the wider business, sharing best practice and working together to achieve regional and company-wide objectives.
• Ensure quality, compliance and best practice remain at the heart of everything we do.
• Support colleague onboarding and development, creating an engaging experience from day one and helping people build successful careers.
• Set ambitious goals and KPIs, keeping your team focused, motivated and accountable for delivering results.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Jane Lewis, representing our values and standards with colleagues, clients and healthcare professionals.

What you'll have:

We’re looking for someone who combines commercial drive with genuine leadership capability.

You’ll be someone who can see the bigger picture but isn’t afraid to get involved and make things happen.

You’ll bring:

• At least 3 years’ experience within a recruitment agency environment, ideally within healthcare, social care, nursing or a related staffing sector.
• A minimum of 2 years’ proven people management experience, with a track record of leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrable experience of delivering against commercial targets, driving growth and increasing market share.
• Strong operational and client management experience, with the ability to build lasting relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• A commercially minded approach, with the confidence to identify opportunities and turn them into measurable results.
• Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate people and hold teams accountable.
• A data-driven mindset, with the ability to use performance metrics and insight to improve results.
• Resilience, energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven recruitment environment.
