About this role

Come and join one of the UK’s largest providers in complex care.

At Frenchay, we’re building something extraordinary.

Across our services, we’re undertaking one of the most ambitious hospitality transformations in
neurological rehabilitation, redefining how patients and families experience care at every stage of their
recovery.

And at the heart of that experience is our Concierge.

We’re not looking for someone to simply sit behind a reception desk.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves looking after people.

Someone who notices the small details, remembers a name, anticipates what someone might need and
understands that a warm welcome, a thoughtful gesture or simply being there at the right moment can
make a real difference.

If you come from hospitality and have ever wondered how your skills could have an even greater purpose,
this could be it.

What you'll be working:

Full Time
• 37.5 hours per week
• Working 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays

• Shift patterns in line with service requirements
• £27,805.25 (FTE) Per annum (Pro rata)

What you'll be doing:

You’ll be one of the most visible and important points of contact for our patients and their families,
supporting them from the moment they arrive through their recovery journey and ultimately towards
discharge.

No two days will be the same.

You might be welcoming a new patient and helping them settle into their room, supporting a family visiting
for the first time, arranging transport or a restaurant reservation, helping organise a special occasion, or
simply noticing that someone needs a little extra attention that day.

You’ll also play an important role in the food and beverage experience, helping patients choose their
meals, coordinating with our Catering and Nursing teams and ensuring food is delivered accurately,
professionally and with genuine hospitality.

You’ll regularly speak with patients and families about their experience, listening to what is working well
and identifying where we can make things even better.

And because every detail matters, you’ll help ensure our reception areas, lounges, dining spaces and other
patient-facing environments always feel welcoming, calm and beautifully presented.

Most importantly, you’ll build relationships.

You’ll get to know the people behind the patient, understanding their preferences, routines and the things
that can make their stay feel more personal, comfortable and human.

What We’re Looking For :

Hospitality experience matters, but your personality matters just as much.

We’re looking for someone warm, confident, polished and naturally attentive.

Someone who enjoys meeting people and building genuine relationships.

Someone who notices the details others might miss and takes pride in making people feel recognised,
comfortable and cared for.

You’ll ideally have experience within a 5-star hotel, luxury hospitality, premium residential environment,
healthcare or another high-standard customer service environment.

Experience in food and beverage service would be particularly valuable, as this forms an important part of
the Concierge experience.

You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable managing several priorities at once, while remaining calm
and professional when situations become challenging.

You’ll also understand that neurological rehabilitation is very different from a hotel. Some of the people
you meet will be going through incredibly difficult moments in their lives, so empathy, emotional
intelligence, discretion and sensitivity are essential.

Above all, we’re looking for people who genuinely believe that Every Detail Matters. Every Moment Heals.
